You can see pictures of them and a brief description about the charity on our website ( dmv.ri.gov) under the “Registration, Plates & Titles” tab, then “License Plates” and then “Charity Plates.” If you do not like this new design, and you have the current blue wave plate, I would suggest that you purchase one of the charity plates that are offered. I think it is quite nice and continues the wave theme that we currently have on most of our plates.

The governor unveiled the new design recently, and it features five small blue waves going across the bottom of the plate. The new design was voted on and the winner was chosen.
